Suppliers
Recommending suppliers is a very difficult thing to do. So often people's experiences vary so much and what pleases one person displeases another! However, all of the people and companies I recommend on here I have worked with either as a Toastmaster or Master of Ceremonies more than once and they have all shown, in my view, a consistently high level of professionalism and customer care.
Everyone needs just the perfect venue for their event. Whether it is an intimate country house wedding, a prestigious estate for a major product launch or somewhere to hold the perfect family party in this country you are almost spoilt for choice. Here are a few venues whom I can heartily recommend. They are professional effective and ......... fabulous.
The ultimate British Stately home, only in miniature. It is a delight. A stunning building with accommodation, fabulous grounds and outstanding staff. It takes some beating.
Dallas Burston Polo Club is a Multi Award-Winning purpose built events venue located in Warwickshire, offering guests a choice of three stunning venues across 600 acres of breath-taking countryside.
Located in the heart of England, it is a 3000 person capacity multi-functional, state of the art luxury conference and events venue. DBPC can cater for a range of business or social occasions.
I have worked here on many occasions and it can match anything seen in London.
The Lakeside Suite is a gorgeous venue run by a fabulous family. Whilst largely a venue for Asian weddings, it is not exclusively so and can provide something a little more special for just about any celebration. You can hold your entire day here. Civil Ceremony, Indian wedding and reception.
The archetypal English Country House hotel. Stunningly beautiful in fabulous countryside. Incredibly luxurious with superbly appointed rooms throughout. You only have to look at a guest list that includes royalty and A-list film stars to get an inkling of its quality.
Caterers
For most English events and weddings the venue usually supplies the catering in house. However Indian and Asian events often bring in their own catering companies. Every company is different and offers different things. Here are some caterers whom I can heartily recommend. Their food and service is consistent, of an exceedingly high standard, and very, very tasty.
Photographers
Choosing the right photographer/videographer for your wedding is hugely important. You have to like them. You will be spending a great deal of time with them throughout the day at potentially stressful times. You have to be able to get on with them.
The people I have listed below are a real mixture. Some are specialists for Asian work and others are not. They each have their own particular style. I really rate them all. They are excellent photographers and nice people.
Odds and Ends
I know the title of this section suggests that everyone on here is something of an afterthought, but they're not. It is the contribution of people and companies like this that help lift an event to an occasion. They are all the top people in their field.
